I am a second-generation Naples, FL native. My roots come from construction and Food and Beverage. My father's side of the family was in construction and my mother's side of the family was restaurateurs. After I graduated from high school, I obtained my contractor's license and started building. Specifically, framing, drywall, and stucco. During Naples' greatest time of development, I kept quite busy in construction. Starting a family very young, I needed to work 2 jobs to make ends meet so I moonlighted at night serving tables and pouring drinks at local restaurants and clubs. I have worked for many clubs and restaurants in the area in the last 30 years. Eventually, construction became unstable for me and I decided to take a full-time server position at The Country Club of Naples in 1999. From the lead server position, I quickly became the Bar Manager and that was the beginning of my management career in Food and Beverage. I stayed at The Country Club of Naples for 17 years in total. I was the Food and Beverage Director for approximately 10 of those years, working my way up the ladder. The experience that was gained from my time at CCN was invaluable. I really dove into continuing education and perfecting my craft. Since making people happy is what keeps me going, it was a wonderful ride. I moved on to a short stint with The Club at Mediterra as their Director of Dining Services and Sommelier. I had a great time serving the members at Mediterra. Each club has its own unique membership and the experience that I gained there was great. Most of my time at Mediterra I spent enhancing and expanding my experience with food and wine. My latest adventure before taking the position here at Stonebridge is the Clubhouse Manager at Colonial Country Club in Ft. Myers. I spent the last 4 years at Colonial and have nothing but great things to say about the club and its membership. Colonial is a large club and has a lot of amenities for the members to enjoy. It is a very fast-paced and active club. I am grateful for my time and experience at Colonial. Now it is time for another chapter in my career. I am looking for a long-term home and plan to stay in Naples as long as possible. It is my home and I absolutely love it here. I am looking forward to a really great relationship with the members and staff at Stonebridge. One thing that I am looking forward to is the upcoming renovation. In March 2021, we completed a $7 million full clubhouse renovation at Colonial. This was coming off of a $15 million renovation at The Club at Mediterra and an $8 million renovation at The Country Club of Naples. I am equipped and ready to do my part at Stonebridge. I am happily married to my lovely wife of 13 years, Krystal. We have 2 children ages 15 (Jacob) and 12 (Ashley). I also have 3 grown children, ages 26 (Joey), 23 (Dawson), and 22 (Kasi). In addition, 3 grandchildren, ages 4 (Oliver), 2 (Joey), and 6 months (Juniper). In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, fishing, golf, and spending time with my family. Once again, I am excited to join the Stonebridge team and look forward to getting to know all of you.
